As the Olympic Torch makes its way to Vancouver, Lake Tahoe will celebrate the last time the Winter Games came to the Pacific Coast, 50 years ago. The Olympic Heritage Celebration honors the 1960 games at Squaw Valley, which launched the region as a ski destination. A torch relay with a replica of the 1960 flame starts 10 days of re-enactments, tours, films, exhibitions and competitions.
